    • Dr. Patrick Schnider assumes the role of Head of Research & Development, driving innovation in next-generation therapies. 

    • Dr. Claudia Bernoulli joins as Head of Quality Assurance, ensuring the highest industry standards across Swiss Rockets AG and its subsidiaries.

Dr. Carlo Durrer, Chief Quality Officer

Dr. Carlo Durrer is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of international experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality, and supply chain management. From 2010 to 2023, Dr. Durrer held senior positions at Roche, including Head of Global CDMO Quality. Before that, he led quality operations at Sandoz in Turkey and was COO at Deva Holding. His career also includes leadership roles in China, the U.S., and Europe, overseeing manufacturing and technical support. Dr. Durrer holds a pharmacy degree from the University of Basel and a Ph.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Paris.

Dr. Patrick Schnider, Head of Research & Development

Dr. Patrick Schnider has worked in pharmaceutical research and development as a medicinal chemist and team leader for more than 25 years. He is the inventor and co-inventor of seven drugs that entered clinical development, including the marketed neurokinin 1 receptor antagonist netupitant for the prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.

During his 22-year tenure at F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Patrick’s contributions were recognized through the Pharma Research Olympiad Gold Medal, the Medicinal Chemistry Leo Sternbach Award, the Inventorship Recognition Award, and the Roche Managers’ Meeting Award of Excellence.  

Dr. Claudia Bernoulli, Head of Quality Assurance

Dr. Claudia Bernoulli is a Swiss pharmacist (Dr. phil. II) with over 25 years of experience across various areas of the pharmaceutical industry. She brings deep expertise in manufacturing and quality requirements throughout the supply chain. As an experienced leader with extensive business acumen and a strategic mindset, she takes a holistic approach to designing and optimizing (quality) processes.
