Swiss Rockets Signs Strategic Exclusive Licensing Agreement with MGI and Complete Genomics, Subject to MGI Shareholder Approval

The agreement grants Swiss Rockets a perpetual, transferable, and sublicensable license covering patents and intellectual property necessary for the development and manufacture of the CoolMPS sequencing platform. The license applies to the United States, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Central Asia, and includes provisions for technology transfer, revenue-based royalties, and potential future expansion of rights into additional territories.

Through this agreement, Swiss Rockets will focus its future development on CoolMPS DNA–barcoding-based products, which are designed to enable faster, more accurate, and cost-efficient whole genome sequencing. These innovations will support comprehensive omics testing for advanced genomic research, precision health, and molecular diagnostics.

The agreement remains subject to approval by MGI shareholders and is therefore not yet effective.
